    Our Mission
Atlanta Institute of Music and Media provides recording arts students with the instructional environment necessary to develop both their technical & musical talents, and acquire the skills to become one of today's professional producer/engineers. The Atlanta Institute of Music and Media's Modern Recording, Engineering, and Production curriculum accomplishes this through class and practical application instruction, audio and video computer lab instruction, and live clinics featuring today's most well-known and innovative engineers, producers, and music industry professionals.

The Atlanta Institute of Music and Media's Modern Recording, Engineering and Production Program is taught by professionals whose work experience, certification, and/or music/engineering degrees give each instructor the background to teach the demanding engineering and production curriculum.

It is the belief of the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media that music, along with its many technological facets, is the universal language and therefore welcomes students from diverse backgrounds. The Atlanta Institute of Music and Media serves students without discrimination on the basis of sex, race, age or religion.

The program's stated objective is to provide the knowledge and assistance in producing a recorded portfolio needed to obtain employment or self-employment in music production used in the world wide web, movies, television, radio, record labels, video film multi-media production studios, and live recording for bands and churches. The program is designed to integrate with our existing guitar, bass, and drum musicianship programs.

Hi, I'm Terrence! My job is to help ensure that all AIMM recording students move through our program successfully and graduate on time. I assist recording students with scheduling, class hours, lab hours, and grades. And if a student has any concerns regarding classes and/or instructors, or is experiencing any other problems that might prevent his or her successful progress at AIMM, I'm here to help! Together, we'll identify problems and find solutions to effectively maintain the student's forward momentum here at AIMM. Part of my job is to follow up with our students, making sure that they're successfully progressing through the program, but to do so in a positive, empowering manner by helping to provide students with resources and opportunities to maximize their learning experience while at AIMM.
