Marcella Meredith

VOCAL INSTRUCTOR

Marcella Meredith has been in the entertainment industry for well over twenty years. Ms. Meredith was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She began her pursuit of singing behind a closed bedroom door at age seven singing along to her favorite Linda Ronstadt albums. Eventually, she made her way to the largest stages she could find in her home town. She pursued her love of music through college. Marcella holds a Bachelor of Music from Berry College in Rome, Georgia, a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from Georgia State University and a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida, Tampa. She has worked with professional opera and musical theater companies as well as concert venues and production companies in the southern United States. Ms. Meredith performed as a member of the Atlanta Opera Chorus for over 15 years. Ms. Meredith has worked with well-known artists from almost every performance genre; including: Miranda Lambert, John De Lancie, Ruth Gotshcall, Burke Moses, Kristopher Irmiter, Carlisle Floyd, Moses Hogan, Lillian Groag, Rehab, Zac Brown Band, Arthur Fagen, Styx, and Eric Church....to begin the list... She is an Actor’s Equity Association Member, an active singer, actor, and voice-over artist. Marcella has particular interests in musical theater, retro-1940’s styles, American songbook, television, film, voice-over, opera, and contemporary music. Ms. Meredith teaches beginning piano and voice at Meredith Studios locations in Gwinnett County.
