    About Our Music and Technology Program for Singers

    Our Music and Technology Associate Degree: Voice Concentration allows vocalists to gain knowledge in the field of Vocal recording and engineering. 

    AIMM uniquely combines music production components, such as tracking, mixing, and mastering with organic instrumentation, in this case, your vocals.

    This way, when you leave AIMM and embark on your path into the music industry, you are a well-rounded musician.

    Our Voice curriculum accomplishes this through:

    This program won't keep you out of the spotlight for too long, it can be completed in just 12 months (4 quarters) of ¾ time enrollment.

    Important note: Due to these stressful times we are all living in because of Covid 19, AIMM is proud to offer students the option of online, hybrid, and on-site courses for peace of mind.

    The Music and Technology Associate Degree: Voice Concentration can be completed in 18 months of accelerated students, 24 months of full-time enrollment, or 30 months of ¾ time enrollment. In just a year and a half, you can be one of the top singing masters.

    The Vocal Performance Certificate can be completed in 12 months (4 quarters) of ¾ time enrollment.

    *Important note: If you complete the Vocal Performance Certificate and decide you'd like to also enroll in the Music and Technology Associate Degree, all of the courses you completed in the performance certificate will automatically matriculate to the degree program.

    Yes, AIMM’s studios and computer labs are outfitted with all the hardware and software required to complete students’ coursework.

    AIMM also offers the purchase of an additional “Tech Kit". The "Tech Kit" is not included in the cost of tuition, it is an optional expense if a student would like to outfit their home workspace with our suggested hardware and software.

    The purchasing of the Tech Kit is handled through a third party website called Vintage King.

    AIMM's on-site campus and facilities offers a wide variety of benefits and opportunities, including:

    8. Digital practice rooms

    The performance hall and classrooms are outfitted with the latest, top-of-the-line amplification gear, acoustic and electric drum kits, and recording equipment to make your experience second to none.

    AIMM currently administers the following Title IV Federal Aid Programs:

    • Federal Pell Grant
    • Federal Direct Loans
    • Federal Direct PLUS Loans.
    • Once a student has been accepted for admission to AIMM, and has applied for Federal Financial Aid, their Financial Aid File will be processed.

    All Federal Aid Applications and required supporting financial documents must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the student’s first day of class.

    Students currently have the option of taking their classes on-campus, online, or creating a hybrid schedule.

    Masks are required at all times while on campus, and student’s temperatures are taken at the student entrance, as well as upon entry of each class.

    Maximum seat caps for every class has been enacted to maintain social distancing for on-campus students. Hand sanitizing stations have been installed at convenient locations all around campus.
